We are excited to announce that the New Zealand Python User Group (NZPUG) is adopting the trading name of Python New Zealand!

The charity is still the same organisation and its legal name remains the same. However, we decided to refer to ourselves from now on as “Python New Zealand” in all our online presence and correspondence.

We hope that you also find this new name more intuitive and easier to remember.

The charity’s website has been on https://python.nz for several years now, and we will be adjusting names and URLs everywhere else in the coming days. Sorry if this breaks any of your bookmarks!

For a while you might see both versions of the name: Python New Zealand and NZPUG. They’re not separate entities, we’ll just be finishing the rebranding over the coming days.
